I love this layout but do not have a need for the upstairs area. Is there an option to delete the upstairs?
Yes! We actually have a name for this model when we build it as a single-story ranch, and it is called the Sherwood. Any cape cod plan can easily be converted to a single-story ranch.
The spare bedrooms are a little too small for my liking. Can the home be modified to make the bedrooms bigger?
Yes! All our plans are fully customizable, and we can easily add footage to the home in dedicated areas without modifying the plan at all. Whether it be making bedrooms bigger, common areas bigger, etc.
I notice the Cape Kensington is a cape cod, but it doesn’t have any dormers. Why?
We designed this custom model in a way that blends between a ranch and a cape cod. It is very common we add customized doghouse and shed dormers of various sizes to this model, enhancing the upstairs square footage and exterior aesthetic.
